2016 Schedule of Events

Open House   Saturday, November 26th   10-4

Please join us for our 7th annual Festival of Trees Open House on Saturday, Nov. 26 from 10-4. Take in the delightful display of trees, wreaths and exhibits adorning all three floors of the James A. Tuttle Library on Main Street in Antrim, NH. The exhibit promises to be our largest yet, with more than 100 trees!! Enjoy refreshments while perusing the displays and voting for your favorites.

 

Visitors will also have the opportunity to vote for their favorites in categories such as funniest, best under tree display, most creative, best tree top and personal favorite. Open House entertainment will feature a variety of talented local musicians and groups. Throughout the day, children of all ages can enjoy the challenge of completing the annual Scavenger Hunt and earning a prize. Numerous generous volunteers provide delectable goodies and seasonal treats, both sweet and savory, to grace our tables.

The Festival will remain on display throughout the month of December and can be visited during regular Library hours which are Mon. and Wed. 2-6, Tues. and Thurs. 2-8, Fri. 9-12 and Sat. 10-4.

*Extended Voting Continues For 2016*  Voting for Favorites will be continued for the first two weeks of the Festival so that visitors beyond the Open House event may contribute. Ballots may be cast through Saturday, December 10th. Ribbon Winners will be announced on at the evening event “A Winter’s Night” on Dec. 10th. The winner of the annual Quilt Raffle will also be drawn at the close of the evening.

**Spots are allocated early for those wishing to submit a display. Completing a registration form confirms your participation and aids in placement. Everyone is urged to complete registrations as soon as possible!

***Please note the earlier schedule this year! Set-up for participants will be the week before the Thanksgiving holiday week: Mon. 11/14 2-6, Tues. 11/15 2-8, Wed. 11/16  2-6, Thurs. 11/17 2-8, Fri. 11/18 9-12 and Sat. 11/19 10-4.
